Advanced Media Corporation (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, Chairman and President: Kiyoyuki Suzuki; hereinafter "Advanced Media") sponsored the "10th University Student IR Presentation Contest" hosted by the Student Investment Union USIC. In this contest, Keio University's Practical Stock Study Group analyzed our company's corporate value and delivered a presentation from the perspective of an IR representative.
In recent years, against the backdrop of the Tokyo Stock Exchange's request for "management conscious of capital costs and stock prices" (※), corporate IR activities are strengthening their strategic role, and we are moving into an era where the quality of dialogue with investors directly links to corporate value.
Amidst this, this contest, where companies and students engage in direct dialogue and analyze/disseminate actual management information, is a highly meaningful initiative as an opportunity to gain practical experience in learning IR. For our company, receiving evaluations from a third-party perspective by students allows us to verify how current IR information is being communicated and provides an opportunity to reconsider better ways of information disclosure, which led us to decide to sponsor.
Furthermore, we believe that this initiative, which allows students highly interested in finance and investment to engage with actual corporate information and deepen their own analysis, also contributes to the development of young human resources who will lead the next generation.
This time, Team A of Keio University's investment circle, the Practical Stock Study Group, conducted a corporate analysis targeting Advanced Media. They held a total of seven meetings, both in person and online, with our IR representatives in preparation for the contest. Our IR representatives explained our business content, case studies, industry trends, financial results explanation materials, and medium-term management plans, and the students proceeded with their analysis based on this information. Furthermore, an interview was conducted with our Representative Director, Chairman and President, Kiyoyuki Suzuki, to deepen their understanding of management strategy and future prospects.
On the day of the contest, the students clearly organized our company overview, business strengths, financial analysis, market evaluation, and initiatives for maximizing shareholder returns, and delivered presentations incorporating their unique perspectives and new proposals. For our company, it was also a valuable opportunity to witness the students' high analytical skills and novel perspectives.
■ Keio University Practical Stock Study Group Team A, Comments
Through this contest, we were able to deepen our understanding of corporate analysis and the importance of IR. The process of making investment decisions while repeatedly discussing as a team was very meaningful, and we feel it led to practical learning.
In addition, we are very grateful to Advanced Media for their consistently courteous response. We will utilize this experience in our future studies and activities.
■ Advanced Media IR Representative, Comments
We are very pleased to have been involved in an opportunity for students to proactively understand our company's business and medium- to long-term vision, and to develop the ability to assess corporate value from an investor's perspective. Furthermore, the sharp questions and perspectives from the students have provided new insights for our company and have been very beneficial in improving the quality of our IR activities.
Advanced Media will continue to actively promote such industry-academia collaboration initiatives, contributing to the development of young human resources who will lead the next generation, and will continue to enhance its IR activities to facilitate better dialogue with investors.
This is an event where investment circles from universities affiliated with USIC take on the role of IR representatives, organize company introductions, performance analyses, industry analyses, market valuations, etc., of listed companies, and deliver approximately 13-minute presentations. Each team's presentation is evaluated by judges from both qualitative and quantitative aspects, and a comprehensive judgment is made. The 10th competition, held on Friday, February 13, 2026, involved 14 listed companies and 10 universities (14 teams) participated.
