Marveloc-Lab

ADSTEC Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative Director: Yuki Kojima) has partnered with Hammer-IMS of Belgium to launch the laboratory measurement device "Marveloc-Lab" for the purpose of measuring basis weight in material and quality evaluation, such as for battery electrode sheets. Non-Radiation Measurement Combining Safety and Simplicity: Measuring "Weight" Non-Contactly with Ultrasound This product is a non-contact, non-destructive, and non-radiation measurement device that utilizes an ultrasonic transmission method (Time-of-Flight / intensity detection). As it does not use radiation, special controlled areas or regulatory compliance are unnecessary, allowing for safe and easy introduction and operation. Ultrasound is transmitted between sensors placed above and below the material, and the basis weight is calculated based on how it propagates (arrival time and intensity changes). Since measurement can be done without touching the material, evaluation is possible without damaging the sample.

Supports a Wide Range of Materials and Achieves High-Precision Measurement "Marveloc-Lab" supports a wide range of sheet materials, including conductive materials such as electrode sheets, and measures basis weight (mg/cm²) with high precision. The measurement accuracy is 0.1 mg/cm² (1σ), enabling stable acquisition of evaluation data. Compact Desktop Design for Easy Introduction into Lab Environments "Marveloc-Lab" is designed in a compact desktop size (approx. 434×413×292mm), allowing for easy introduction into lab environments regardless of installation space. It can be operated even in limited spaces and is suitable for daily evaluation tasks. Manual sample feeding allows for compatibility with diverse evaluations. Portable with a Pelican case
