Bonobono × Puzzle Event 'Escape from the Enclosed Darkness with Bonobono' to be Held at Esuparu & JR Fruit Park Sendai Aramama from July 17 (Fri) to August 16 (Sun)!

From Friday, July 17, 2026, to Sunday, August 16, 2026, the Bonobono × puzzle event 'Escape from the Enclosed Darkness with Bonobono' will be held at six locations: Esuparu Sendai, Fukushima, Koriyama, Iwaki, Yamagata, and JR Fruit Park Sendai Aramama!

The theme of this puzzle event is 【SDGs】.

Designed as an event to introduce new values, it aims to encourage thinking about the environment while enjoying puzzles with the beloved characters of Bonobono.

Additionally, on Monday, July 20, 2026 (a national holiday), a signing event by the original creator, Mikio Igarashi, will be held at Kumazawa Shoten on the 3rd floor of Esuparu Sendai Main Building! Details on how to participate will be announced later, so please stay tuned for updates!

Furthermore, a new sake product from the collaboration between the brewery in Kamimachi, Miyagi Prefecture—Mikio Igarashi’s hometown—and Bonobono, titled 'Bonobono × Tenjomugen,' will be released! Available in two types—Junmai and Junmai Ginjo—both in a convenient 300ml size, perfect as souvenirs.

This summer vacation, visit the Tohoku region and enjoy solving puzzles with the Bonobono characters!

【Story】 One day, Bonobono gets trapped inside a rock. All around, numerous puzzles are written. Can you solve all the puzzles and successfully escape from inside the rock? Search the venue for the 'five puzzles' scattered throughout and help Bonobono escape! Those who solve all the puzzles will receive a special gift! ♪
