Adinte Co., Ltd., headquartered in Kyoto City and led by Representative Director Shinji Sogo, began offering its signage-type IoT vending machine "AIICO" on April 1, 2026. These machines are installed at four key Osaka Metro stations: Honmachi Station (Midosuji Line), Namba Station (Midosuji Line), Nishi-Umeda Station (Yotsubashi Line), and Tanimachi 9-chome Station (Sennichimae Line). The objective is to address diverse consumer needs, improve station convenience, support corporate digital marketing, and promote digital transformation (DX) in offline spaces. This initiative is aligned with Osaka Metro's "109 Stations Service Hub Project," which aims to introduce services that enhance convenience and discovery at all 109 stations. AIICO offers products like band-aids, masks, and face masks, with plans to introduce cosmetic items. It facilitates "experiential" marketing by allowing consumer insights to be gathered through questionnaires and providing opportunities for product trials. Adinte plans to expand AIICO's deployment to subway networks in other major Japanese cities, aiming to create interactive marketing spaces that connect consumer demand with corporate communication. AIICO features a 55-inch screen for promotional content, enables sales and sample distribution, and supports remarketing by utilizing acquired first-party data.
