adidas Golf Announces Latest "CODECHAOS 27" in CODECHAOS Series: "Step into the Chaos." Fourth Generation Boasts Monster Performance

Adidas Japan K.K. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Kohei Hagiwara) announces the latest model in the performance golf shoe "CODECHAOS" series, "CODECHAOS 27." This model is the fourth generation of the CODECHAOS series, further enhancing the balance of comfort, grip, and stability, achieving both walking comfort and the grip and stability required for swings. It pursues tour-level grip and stability while ensuring comfortable wear even during long rounds. Furthermore, the BOA® model and the lace-up model differentiate in structure and materials. By designing each closure to better leverage its strengths, we propose two types of performance that can be chosen according to preference and playing style. Sales will begin on July 10, 2026, at the official adidas online store (https://www.adidas.jp/golf), the official adidas app (https://www.adidas.jp/mobileapps), adidas flagship stores, and select adidas Golf retailers. CODECHAOS 27 Product Features

Free Movement, Unwavering Swing. New Technology "AXISLOCK" Torsion System

This is the first time this technology is being adopted in the CODECHAOS series. An integrated structure connecting both sides of the foot and the sole is placed in the midsole, featuring an asymmetrical structure that wraps around the heel and extends towards the toes. It simultaneously pursues walking comfort and swing stability, elevating performance on the course to a new level.

Light, Flexible, and Strong. "TWISTSKIN Upper" Combines Fit and Waterproofing

Adopts the newly developed upper material "TWISTSKIN." Its unique structure, created at the fiber level, provides stretch and stability only where needed, achieving a high level of fit. The BOA® model uses microfiber leather, which excels in flexibility and stability. The lace-up model uses an ultra-thin PU film. Each uses different structures and materials to achieve both a comfortable fit and stability. This results in two distinct fits and performance capabilities.

"TWISTGRIP Outsole" with Further Evolved Grip and Comfort Performance

The outsole expands its grip function by 20% compared to previous models. By increasing the contact area, it provides high grip, while also dispersing pressure across the entire sole, leading to improved comfort. The BOA® model features an all-TPU TWISTGRIP. Furthermore, its appropriate flexibility and suppleness provide powerful stability from the sole.

The lace model uses TPU TWISTGRIP only on the forefoot, combined with an ADIWEAR® rubber outsole with high adaptability for other areas. This results in a specification that further enhances tenacious grip and comfort.

Full-Length BOOST Midsole

For the first time in the series, exposed BOOST foam is used full-length, removing structural constraints. This design allows for a more direct experience of BOOST's inherent responsiveness and soft cushioning. Additionally, the heel incorporates a wrap structure for the outsole and a rounded heel shape to enhance cushioning. This enables high comfort and walking performance.

For golfers who prioritize reduced swing sway and stability while maintaining high comfort, the "CODECHAOS 27 BOA" will also be available. This model features the "Performance Fit® Wrap" with the BOA Fit System. It directly and securely holds the foot inside the shoe, aiming for further stability. This system is integrated as a zippered cover within the waterproof TWISTSKIN upper, enveloping the entire instep of the foot through the inside of the shoe. The zipper is designed to be opened and closed assuming the BOA Fit System is tightened, allowing for fit adjustments according to the scene and preference.

In addition to men's and women's lace-up and BOA models, the "CODECHAOS 27" will also feature a junior model inspired by this series.
