In the food industry, there is a demand for providing various values beyond just "deliciousness," "safety and peace of mind," and "stable supply," including environmental considerations and support for diversity. Furthermore, consumer sentiment is trending downward due to rising prices of food and other goods, in addition to the instability of raw material and fuel prices driven by climate change and geopolitical risks. On the other hand, against the backdrop of robust inbound demand, the global market is increasingly recognizing the quality of Japanese food.

Against this backdrop, the 2026 fiscal year new products include six varieties that, in addition to functionality such as "deliciousness" and "ease of use," contribute to solving various food-related issues by utilizing ADEKA's strength in food tech.

With concepts focused on "products that contribute to both 'deliciousness' and 'cost-efficiency'" and "products that support overseas exports," we aim to further develop the hotel, restaurant, and cafe (HoReCa) sectors, souvenir confectionery, and the prepared food/home-meal replacement market, where demand is expected to grow, while accelerating overseas exports and global expansion.
