ADEKA Corporation (Representative Director and President/CEO: Hidetaka Shirozume) announced the 2026 new products of its food business RISU BRAND. Sales are scheduled to begin sequentially from April 1st.
Since beginning the manufacture and sale of margarine in 1929, the ADEKA Group has been providing value, including 'deliciousness', to address social issues with its solid technological capabilities. Precisely because we are in an era of increasing uncertainty, we will make full use of our strength in food tech to contribute to the creation of the future of food together with everyone in the supply chain.
2026 New Product Theme
'Creating the future of food together - Bringing smiles to dining tables around the world with Food Tech'
In the food industry, in addition to 'deliciousness', 'safety and security', and 'stable supply', there is a demand to provide various values such as environmental consideration and response to diversity. Furthermore, in addition to the instability of raw material and fuel prices against the backdrop of climate change and geopolitical risks, consumer sentiment is trending downward due to soaring prices, including food products. On the other hand, backed by robust inbound demand, the reputation of Japanese food is rising in the global market.
Given this background, the 2026 new products will roll out 6 varieties that contribute to solving various food issues by making full use of ADEKA's strength in food tech, in addition to functionalities such as 'deliciousness' and 'ease of use'.
Under the concepts of 'products that contribute to both deliciousness and cost efficiency' and 'products that support overseas export', the new products aim to further pioneer the hotel, restaurant, and cafe (HoReCa), souvenir sweets, and prepared/ready-made meal markets, where demand is expected to expand in the future, and accelerate overseas export and global expansion.
In addition to the 6 varieties being launched this time, we plan to announce new products within fiscal 2026 that will contribute to creating better products for our customers while addressing raw material supply uncertainties and price fluctuations.
2026 New Product POINTs
- These products are conceptually designed to contribute to 'achieving both deliciousness and cost efficiency' and 'supporting overseas exports' (e.g., product designs that do not require food additive labeling or consider overseas export regulations).
- Products that use palm oil as a raw material are RSPO-certified products (Mass Balance).
Also, partially hydrogenated oils are not used.
* Food additive approval status varies by country and region. Please contact us if you are considering use for overseas export.
