Adecco opens BPO Center in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture

Adecco, a brand of workforce solutions of Adecco Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Kenji Hirano), the Japanese subsidiary of Adecco Group, a global leader in human resource services, has opened the "Hakata BPO Center" (Location: 9-12 Shimokawabata-machi, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City), its first outsourcing business base in Fukuoka Prefecture. Through the operation of the Hakata BPO Center, Adecco will promote job creation and expansion of employment opportunities in Fukuoka Prefecture, and support companies in solving their challenges.

Adecco has handled numerous outsourcing projects for private companies, including many large-scale projects, and operates BPO centers in other prefectures, including Tokyo and Osaka. Adecco positions Fukuoka Prefecture as one of its important markets, and the opening of this BPO center is part of its efforts to strengthen its business in the prefecture.

In Fukuoka Prefecture, the effective job opening ratio for "clerical occupations" is 0.4 times (January 2026) (*1), indicating a shortage of job openings for job seekers who desire clerical work. On the other hand, many companies face a significant challenge in business operations due to labor shortages, and effective solutions to support sustainable growth are required. Through the opening of the Hakata BPO Center, Adecco will work to create employment and expand job opportunities in the prefecture, and support companies in Fukuoka Prefecture and elsewhere in promoting DX, focusing on core operations, improving productivity, and reducing selling, general and administrative expenses and other costs.
