Decision Made to Hold "Kodomo Work in Kobe 2026," a Real Job Experience Event Themed on Kobe's Sea

Under the sponsorship of the General Incorporated Association Regional Future Creation Center, ActIndy Co., Ltd., which operates the child outing information website "iko-yo (https://iko-yo.net/)," has decided to hold "Kodomo Work in Kobe 2026," a sea-themed job experience program planned and supervised in collaboration with Kobe City. Celebrating its fifth year, this year's event will feature the largest number of programs to date (approximately 25 types *1). It will be held in Kobe City and its surrounding areas from July 18 (Saturday) to August 7 (Friday), aligning with the summer vacation period. As part of career education, some programs will also be offered to junior high school students, in addition to the traditional target of elementary school students. The initiative aims to continue creating opportunities for children of a wide range of ages to experience sea-related professions. Furthermore, to further enhance this five-year milestone, the "Kodomo Work's AWARD" has been established this year. Excellent works (Works) submitted, such as proposals created during the experience and summer holiday research projects, will be selected, awarded, and presented with commemorative gifts. Applications for participation are scheduled to begin on May 29 (Friday), and details on each program and application methods will be announced sequentially in future releases. "Kodomo Work in Kobe" is an initiative launched in 2022 under the "Business Partnership Agreement for Human Resource Development in Marine Industries" with Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. Set in diverse marine workplaces such as ports, logistics, tourism, and fisheries, participants get to learn directly from professionals in places normally inaccessible.
