(Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takamichi Shimomoto), which operates one of Japan's largest outing information sites for children 'Iko-yo', conducted a questionnaire survey on 'April seasonal events and activities' targeting child-rearing households at the 'Iko-yo Family Lab', which explores the real trends of the child-rearing demographic.

As a result of the survey, 73.0% of respondents overwhelmingly chose 'Cherry Blossom Viewing (Hanami)' for their April event intentions. Looking at what they want to do at hanami, there are signs that it is enjoyed not just as simple leisure, but as 'time to enjoy recording the family's growth'.
