Actindi Co., Ltd. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takamichi Shimomoto), which operates "Iko-yo," Japan's largest outing information site for children, conducted a survey on "children's karaoke debut" as part of the "Iko-yo Family Lab," which aims to shed light on the real behavior of parents and children through surveys and interviews.

Karaoke is becoming a standard outing destination for children. According to the survey, the number one karaoke chain for children's "karaoke debut" was "Manekineko" (19.1%). Furthermore, the most common reason given for choosing "Manekineko" was "because it has a kids' space" (41.9%).

This release details what child-rearing households prioritize when children make their karaoke debut and what kind of establishments they choose.
