We asked about plans for leisure outings during this year's Golden Week.
44% plan for "day trips only," 14% plan for "both overnight and day trips," and 11% plan for "overnight trips." In total, about 70% of families are planning outings. While day trips are the primary focus for many families, one in four families are planning overnight trips.
On the other hand, about 30% of families are not planning any outings.
