Yushin Across Co., Ltd., which operates 'With You' after-school day service and child development support centers nationwide, is partnering with the 'Aijo no Utsuwa Attachment Development Support Research Association,' established in February 2026, to launch a new therapeutic care system focused on attachment support expertise.
The research association was founded to carry forward the philosophy and research achievements of the late Professor Yoshiyoshi Yonezawa, a leading expert in attachment disorder and developmental support. Professor Yonezawa previously collaborated with Yushin Across to build a support model based on the 'Vessel of Love' (Aijo no Utsuwa) concept. His wife, Mrs. Wakako Yonezawa, will now lead the association to continue the legacy of research and education.
In recent years, the importance of an 'attachment' perspective in developmental support has been widely recognized. With this collaboration, 'With You' aims to further systemize and upgrade its specialized services for implementation across its nationwide network.
Central to this initiative is the new proprietary qualification, 'Attachment Repair Specialist.' Staff members who obtain this certification will be equipped with specialized knowledge in attachment disorders and formation, enabling them to provide highly individualized care.
Additionally, the following two programs will be rolled out nationwide: 1. 'Attachment Repair Program': Focusing on alleviating anxiety and loneliness by helping children accumulate experiences of 'being accepted' and building 'trusting relationships.' 2. 'Emotional Control Support Program': A program designed to help children understand their emotions and foster the ability to regain composure.
Moving forward, Yushin Across plans to introduce attachment-based therapeutic care across its network of over 400 'With You' facilities nationwide.
