## Press Release Information
Title: Takuya Hashimoto, Author of Over 200,000 Best-sellers, to Speak to 100+ Kobe Leaders on 'How to Build an Organization Where People Stay'

The Kobe Branch of the Japan Professional Speaker Association (JPSA) will hold its 15th Anniversary Special Lecture on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at SOLA KOBE. More than 100 business owners and professionals from inside and outside Kobe will gather to learn about 'Organizational Water Quality Improvement' to solve serious labor shortages and young talent turnover, using 'Lead Management' techniques that can be practiced immediately.

### Background of the Event

The lights of Kobe, once praised as the 'Million Dollar Night View,' have overcome the hardships of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. However, the city now faces serious internal organizational challenges such as recruitment difficulties and early turnover of young talent.

Even as the job opening ratio for high school graduates in Hyogo Prefecture reaches a record high of 4.24, some companies 'don't lose people and see their employees shine autonomously.' These companies prioritize 'Lead Management,' a philosophy that respects the internal motivation of each employee rather than traditional 'control and coercion.'

Since its establishment in 2011, JPSA Kobe Branch has been learning and practicing this method with the local community for 14 years. On this occasion, we have invited best-selling author Takuya Hashimoto to provide an opportunity for next-generation leaders to rethink 'what an organization should be.'

### Why 'Traditional Management' Cannot Survive Now
In a historic seller's market, relying only on 'conditions' like salary and benefits to retain people has reached its limit. Statistics show the job opening ratio for high school graduates in Hyogo has hit a record 4.24, far exceeding the national average of 3.69, leading to an intense 'war for talent.'

A critical point is that the top reason for turnover is 'workplace relationships.' Methods that try to move younger generations through unilateral orders or strong management are reaching a major turning point.

### Spread of 'Lead Management' with Leaders Nationwide
The speaker, Takuya Hashimoto, is the author of 'The First Book to Read When You Have Subordinates,' which won the Grand Prix at the 'Business Book Grand Prix 2025' and has surpassed 200,000 copies in circulation. This overwhelming response shows that many on-site leaders are desperately seeking a new way of engaging people instead of 'control-oriented management.'

Understand each employee's 'desires' and foster a spontaneous will to 'contribute.' We will deliver this concept of 'Lead Management' to help everyone in Kobe put it into practice.
