Our company supports April Dream, an initiative to make April 1st a day for sharing dreams. This press release represents the dream of "Achi Hoshifuri no Yado Yamaboshi."
In recent years, the number of hotels where pets can stay has gradually increased. However, we feel there is still a significant difference between merely "being able to stay" and "being able to spend time comfortably as a family."
Our beloved dogs are not just companions to bring along; they are cherished members of our families.
That's why we believe that time spent at an inn should be as welcoming and naturally accepted for dogs as it is for people. With this in mind, Yamaboshi is developing services for dogs and their families.
This includes a welcome service that brings a sense of relief the moment you arrive.
It means being able to walk around the premises on a leash as a matter of course, without unnecessary restrictions.
It means being able to choose how your dog enjoys their meal, rather than just "eating what's provided."
It means not only humans being comfortable, but also dogs and their families feeling natural and at ease.
We aim to be an inn where such experiences are not special considerations but are seamlessly integrated from the start.
What Yamaboshi has valued so far
Under the theme of "Beyond just staying with pets," Yamaboshi has been developing accommodation services and new menus to enrich the travel experience for dogs and their families.
We also engage in discussions and joint menu development with other hotels that offer various services for dog lovers.

What Yamaboshi aims to undertake next
Yamaboshi aims to create experiences that enrich not only the time spent during the stay but also daily life after returning home.
The comfort felt during the trip and the way one interacts with their dog should seamlessly extend into everyday life.
We believe that this is truly a valuable stay experience.
To achieve this, Yamaboshi is considering the following initiatives:
・Dog treat making experience led by a pet food specialist.
・Dog massage classes that can be practiced at home.
・Workshops to enrich life with dogs.
Our goal is to be an inn that doesn't just end with a stay, but becomes "a catalyst for a slightly changed daily life."
We want to spread experiences from Yamaboshi that deepen the relationship with dogs and enrich everyday life.
Future challenges and the ideal form
Yamaboshi's goal is not just the idea of "pets are allowed," but for the concept of "dogs are family, so spending time together is natural" to become more widely rooted in society.
And in accommodation facilities, for stays with dogs to become a "natural standard" rather than a "special option."
Yamaboshi aims to take the first step as an accommodation facility towards realizing a society where dogs and their families can spend time without feeling out of place.
Not just accepting, but genuinely welcoming.
Not just being able to stay together, but being able to spend time naturally as a family.
Yamaboshi will lead the way in setting such new standards for travel.
