Accel Lab Co., Ltd. By expanding the scope of Matter certification acquisition from the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA), we have established the technical foundation for interoperability with a wider variety of Matter-compatible devices, including smart locks and lighting, as well as switches, sensors, and thermostats. This allows businesses considering smart home adoption in the housing sector to design installations with more flexible device selection and scalability in mind for the future. ## ◆Background and Aim In smart home adoption in the housing sector, challenges have arisen due to differing specifications and connection methods for devices and manufacturers, leading to selection burdens during installation and issues with expandability after implementation. Matter is a global standard that resolves these challenges and creates an environment where devices from different manufacturers can easily connect.
