Exclusive One-Group-Per-Day Accommodation 'Mori no Yado | ACAO FOREST' to Open at Atami's ACAO FOREST on June 20, 2026

ACAO FOREST, operated by ACAO SPA & RESORT Co., Ltd. (Kamitaga, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture; CEO: Yuki Yamazaki), will open a wooden trailer house accommodation facility called 'Mori no Yado | ACAO FOREST' on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in collaboration with A Cabin Company Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo; CEO: Akira Nishimura), a company specializing in sustainable, environmentally integrated mobile architecture.

This facility marks a new location in the 'Mori no Yado' series of accommodations launched by A Cabin Company Co., Ltd., following the first site in Isumi City, Chiba Prefecture. It will be the second location in the series. Together with A Cabin Company, we aim to offer new experiential stays that make the most of ACAO FOREST’s rich natural environment.

The newly opened wooden trailer house accommodation is located in the lemon orchard area of ACAO FOREST, known for its exceptional views. The wooden trailer house, crafted by A Cabin Company, is a 100% Made in Tokyo structure, using Tama-sourced cedar and cypress for its frame, exterior, and interior. While equipped with comfortable amenities such as a queen-sized bed, shower room, and private toilet, guests can immediately step outside to enjoy the expansive views of the sea and forest. The facility adopts solar power generation, battery storage, and a V2H (Vehicle to Home) system for energy management, ensuring a comfortable stay with minimal environmental impact.

Guests can not only enjoy daytime garden walks but also fully experience the natural beauty of ACAO FOREST.

ACAO FOREST has long been a beloved tourist destination in Atami, known for its seasonal flowers and scenic views of Sagami Bay. However, there has been growing demand from visitors to experience ACAO FOREST at night and to stay overnight immersed in nature. 'Mori no Yado | ACAO FOREST' responds to these needs while introducing a new model that integrates accommodation functions without significantly altering the existing landscape or terrain. Leveraging the unique characteristics of wooden trailer houses, this initiative fosters coexistence with nature and creates new value for stays at ACAO FOREST, which has primarily attracted day-trippers until now.

Guests can enjoy special moments unique to ACAO FOREST before opening hours and after closing time. Experience the sky gradually turning orange before sunrise, the serene forest and shrine enveloped in crisp morning air, and the magical 'Moon Road'—a luminous path formed by moonlight reflecting on the surface of Sagami Bay at night. These are just some of the natural wonders guests can fully appreciate during their stay.

'Mori no Yado | ACAO FOREST' incorporates solar power generation and battery storage, along with a V2H (Vehicle-to-Home) system that utilizes EVs as 'mobile batteries.' This series has received Phase-Free certification from the nonprofit Phase-Free Association, aiming not only for tourism use under normal conditions but also to contribute to disaster resilience. Through the 'Mori no Yado' series, A Cabin Company aims to expand a network of accommodations that make use of underutilized natural assets near urban areas.

Exclusive Dining Experiences: Special Plans in Collaboration with CODA ROSSA and BAR COEDA

'Mori no Yado | ACAO FOREST' offers exclusive dining plans in collaboration with trattoria CODA ROSSA and BAR COEDA, available only to overnight guests. Guests can enjoy a richer stay through curated culinary experiences featuring local Atami and Izu ingredients and fermentation culture, followed by a tranquil evening at a bar with panoramic night views.

・ATAMI Wellness Gastronomy × Mori no Yado | ACAO FOREST Special Plan

'ATAMI Wellness Gastronomy' reinterprets Atami’s sea, mountain, and hot spring culture, along with Japan’s traditional fermentation culture, into modern Italian cuisine.

Dinner is served at trattoria CODA ROSSA. Guests can enjoy a six-course wellness gastronomy menu centered on ingredients and fermentation traditions from Atami and Izu. After dinner, overnight guests of 'Mori no Yado | ACAO FOREST' are invited to BAR COEDA for dessert and after-dinner drinks. Relax and savor the lingering flavors of the course while gazing at the beautiful moonlit scenery.

Additionally, shuttle service between CODA ROSSA and BAR COEDA is available exclusively for guests who have booked the course meal.
