SAMANSA announced that its original label SSTRUCK's latest film 'Idols' was nominated for the International Feature Film Competition at the 30th Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, Canada. Directed by Matt Halsall, the film has a running time of 19 minutes and 49 seconds and stars Hojo Shin in a dual role. The story follows Mina, a struggling singer who discovers she has a doppelganger who is a movie star. When Mina storms into her doppelganger's mansion to change her life, an unexpected development awaits. The film highlights the psychological battle and dark human desires between two people with the same appearance but different circumstances. The Fantasia International Film Festival, established in 1996, is a major genre film festival held annually in Montreal. The 30th anniversary event will take place from July 16 to August 2. SAMANSA is a streaming service specializing in short films, offering over 500 carefully selected global works for a monthly fee of 490 yen.
