Study Hacker Joins PROGRIT Group

PROGRIT Inc. (Headquarters: Hamamatsucho, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Shogo Okada; Securities Code: 9560), an English learning platform, announced today, April 28, 2026, the completion of the group integration of Study Hacker Inc. (Headquarters: Kanda Jimbocho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Kensaku Oka; hereinafter "Study Hacker"), which was previously announced on April 7, 2026. Concurrently, Study Hacker Inc. changed its company name to "ENGLISH COMPANY Co., Ltd." as of today. Along with this, Shogo Okada, Representative Director and President of PROGRIT Inc., will assume the position of Chairman of the Board of ENGLISH COMPANY Co., Ltd., and Ko Takahashi, Executive Officer and Head of President's Office of PROGRIT Inc., will assume the position of Representative Director and President of ENGLISH COMPANY Co., Ltd., commencing business under the new management structure.

■ Regarding Group Integration

On April 7, 2026, our company concluded a stock transfer agreement to acquire all shares of Study Hacker Inc., and with today's acquisition of shares, the integration of Study Hacker Inc. into our group has been completed. Study Hacker Inc. has been developing English education businesses, including the English coaching service "ENGLISH COMPANY," and education-related app development businesses, centered on a scientific approach based on second language acquisition theory.

Moving forward, as a member of the PROGRIT Group, both companies will combine their accumulated scientific knowledge, coaching and school operation know-how, product development, marketing, and learning data, in addition to approximately 260 instructors, which will be one of the largest in Japan, to maximize the value provided to English learners.

■ Regarding Company Name Change and New Logo Establishment

Accompanying this group integration, with deep respect for the brand cultivated by the company over many years, the company name will be changed to "ENGLISH COMPANY Co., Ltd." as of today.
In addition, the company has also established a new logo. A diagonal cut is incorporated into part of the characters, expressing a forward-moving will like an arrow.
