Mercari, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Mercari") announced on July 1, 2026 (Wed.) that it has launched a new contract benefit for customers signing up for the first time for its mobile service, "Mercari Mobile." Eligible customers will receive a free benefit including the registration fee and the first month's basic monthly charge, as well as a coupon offering a 99% discount (up to 3,000 yen) usable on "Mercari" (Note 1).

"Mercari Mobile" is Always a Great Deal, Even for Your First Contract

"Mercari Mobile" launched its service in March 2025 with the concept of "Flexible and Affordable Smartphone Usage." The service, which starts from 990 yen/month for 4GB of basic data, allows for easy application and management through the Mercari app, and its feature of buying and selling data capacity (gigs) for efficient use has been well-received by many customers.

Previously, "Mercari Mobile" offered limited-time campaigns and reward programs for continuing customers to make contracts more affordable. Now, to allow more customers to start with great value, we are launching a new contract benefit. "Mercari Mobile" is a mobile service where everything from the basic charge of 990 yen/month for 4GB to monthly data usage (gigs) management and payment is completed within the Mercari app (Note 2).
