Housebird Inc. Expands Public-Private Partnership for Repurposing Vacant Houses into Accommodation Facilities to a Total of 6 Municipalities in Saitama Prefecture

Housebird Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo; President: Masataka Iju), a group company of Agre Urban Design Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo; President: Ryuichi Obayashi), will further expand its initiatives within Saitama Prefecture through collaboration on the "Vacant House Total Solution System." This follows the conclusion of agreements on vacant house countermeasures by the Resona Group's Saitama Resona Bank (Head Office: Saitama Prefecture; President: Satoshi Fukuoka) with Kamisato Town in Kodama District, Saitama (concluded March 26) and Minano Town in Chichibu District (concluded March 30).

With this agreement, the number of municipalities collaborating through the "Vacant House Total Solution System," in which Housebird participates, has reached a total of six within Saitama Prefecture.

This agreement establishes a one-stop support system through public-private partnership to address various regional issues such as the management, sale, rental, demolition, and renovation of vacant houses. In this system, our company will play the role of regenerating and utilizing vacant houses as accommodation facilities, promoting the effective use of regional resources and the creation of new stay value.
The "Vacant House Total Solution System" is a service that supports the resolution of various issues related to vacant houses by introducing 16 specialized companies in Saitama Prefecture with which Saitama Resona Bank has partnership agreements. The service, which started in September 2025, has established a comprehensive support system that leverages a network of community-based experts.

Housebird will leverage its track record of developing private rental accommodations and renovating old folk houses across the country to contribute to tourism promotion and sustainable regional revitalization by repurposing vacant houses into accommodation facilities.
