Global Girl Group UNIS Announces Release of 'UNIS Japan 1st Mini Album' on July 31, 2026

UNIS (pronounced 'You-nis'), a global girl group based in South Korea formed through 'UNIVERSE TICKET'—a girl group audition program exclusively streamed on ABEMA, Japan's 'new future television'—will release their first Japanese mini-album, 'UNIS Japan 1st Mini Album' (title to be announced), on Friday, July 31, 2026. Additionally, release events commemorating the album's launch have been officially confirmed.

UNIS emerged from 'UNIVERSE TICKET,' the first-ever girl group audition program produced by SBS, one of South Korea's three major terrestrial broadcasters. The group is a next-generation K-Pop act that excels in singing, dancing, visuals, and star power. Having officially debuted in March 2024, UNIS quickly garnered numerous awards, including rookie honors, and has become a leading figure in the 5th generation of K-Pop.

The group consists of eight members: Nana and Kotoko from Japan, Jelly Danka and Elycia from the Philippines, and Jin Hyunju, Park Yuna, Oh Yuna, and Lim Sowon from South Korea. Their diverse, multicultural lineup is one of UNIS's greatest strengths.

To celebrate the release of 'UNIS Japan 1st Mini Album' (title to be announced), release events will be held at venues in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo. These events will include mini live performances, allowing fans at each location to enjoy UNIS's dynamic stage presence.

The 'UNIS Japan 1st Mini Album,' set for release on July 31, 2026, will feature five tracks, including new songs. The album includes original Japanese tracks such as 'Moshi Moshi♡' and 'Shiawase ni Nanka Naranaide ne' (Don't You Dare Be Happy), tailored specifically for Japanese audiences.
