ABEMA to Provide 11-Hour Free Live Broadcast of 'MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026'

The "New Future TV" ABEMA announced the celebrity guest lineup for its comprehensive, free live broadcast of the domestic-scale music award event 'MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026' on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

'MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN' is a large-scale international music award event conceptualized around "connecting with the world and lighting the future of music." This second edition will be held on a larger scale than its 2025 debut.

The event will take place at 'SGC Hall Ariake (TOKYO DREAM PARK)' for the daytime 'Premiere Ceremony,' which will announce over 60 categories, and at 'TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO' for the evening 'Grand Ceremony' and 'Red Carpet,' creating a historic day to celebrate excellent music.

ABEMA will implement an 11-hour special broadcast schedule. Starting with the opening at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO at 12:30 PM, the schedule includes the daytime 'Premiere Ceremony,' the studio program 'Special: Predicting the Winner of THE RUBY,' the 'Red Carpet' live broadcast featuring nominated artists, and the evening 'Grand Ceremony.' Beyond free live streaming, ABEMA will feature original content to provide a deeper understanding of the awards.

MC Kuruma Takahira of the comedy duo Reiwa Roman will lead the studio special, covering from the opening through to the evening winner prediction special.

Furthermore, entertainment figures such as Sakura Inoue, educational entrepreneur Ranmaru Kishitani, actor-musician Kaito Sakurai, comedian Morimoto of Tontsukan, Nagahama Hirona (notable for ABEMA's 'KyokuSuki'), celebrity-actor Rei Maruyama, and music critic Mino will gather. They will offer their unique perspectives on the award results and performances, including special programs analyzing who will receive 'THE RUBY.'

Additionally, Yusuke Inoue of the comedy duo NON STYLE and Kasumi Mori will serve as onsite interviewers for the Red Carpet broadcast. Comedian Yu Sawabe of the duo Haraichi will also join the ABEMA studio to conduct special interviews with domestic and international artists that can only be seen on ABEMA.
