The new future of television, "ABEMA," broadcast "'Oshiete! SV Leaguer Hotspot MAP Suntory Sunbirds Osaka Arc vol. 1" on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

This program introduces the hotspots of players active in Japan's top volleyball league, the "Daido Life SV League," while delving into their charms. This third installment explored the hangouts of the Suntory Sunbirds Osaka, who finished first in the regular season to advance to the finals. We interviewed Ai Takahashi, Rui Takahashi, Yoshimitsu Kiire, Taishi Onodera, and Itsuki Kashiwada, getting close to their private lives and their aspirations for back-to-back SV League championships.

Ai Takahashi & Taishi Onodera Introduce Their Go-To Yakitori Restaurant! "It's so good, please don't come too often (lol)"

This time, the players revealing their hotspot were captain Ai Takahashi, who has decided to play overseas next season, and middle blocker Taishi Onodera, whose weapon is his blocking, leveraging his 202cm height.

Both players unanimously recommended the yakitori restaurant "Yuu HIRO" in Toyonaka, Osaka. Takahashi introduced it, saying, "All the yakitori is delicious. They have rare cuts, and we all go there often." Onodera also gave his seal of approval, commenting, "They serve side dishes and skewers one by one in a course style, so the whole experience, including the atmosphere, is delicious," and jokingly added, "It's too good, so please don't come too often (lol)," making the filming crew laugh. Takahashi also introduced his favorite menu item. He described a special dish where stick-shaped daikon radish is wrapped in bacon and eaten in a flavorful dashi broth, smiling as he said, "They make it specially for us when we go." The owner also revealed his consideration for the players, stating, "I thought it might not be enough when they all come together. So I prepare it for them as a chef's choice."

Next, Onodera also recommended "Katsuō-ji Temple," famous for prayers for victory, commenting that "there are many photo spots." This "victory luck spot," previously introduced by Osaka Marvelous player Kotona Hayashi, once again drew attention.

The program also featured talk segments delving into the players' thoughts on the upcoming championship and their private lives.

Regarding the championship, Takahashi stated, "Just because we won the regular season doesn't mean we can win the championship," and powerfully commented, "In the end, it's all about giving our all. Whatever happens, we won't panic and will fight, believing in our volleyball." Onodera also looked back on the regular season, saying, "There were some frustrating matches, but it was a season where we were able to enhance our team strength as we fought," expressing the team's solid progress and revealing his strong determination for the championship.

Furthermore, Onodera talked about his wife's home cooking as his 'power meal.' While saying, "I can't decide because everything is delicious," he showed his devoted husband side, revealing, "Tofu hamburg steak is my favorite. When I want to eat it, I ask her to make it."

Meanwhile, Takahashi spoke passionately about his beloved dog, Yogu-kun. He revealed the origin of the name, "I did a commercial for 'Tennensui Kiritto Yogu,' so I had decided on 'Yogu' from the beginning," and showed a consistently beaming expression, saying, "It's cute how he only opens up to family," and "His emotions are so easy to understand, everything about him is just cute."
