The "New Future TV" ABEMA is exclusively streaming "H//PE Princess no High School! Princess," an 8-episode special program, the first for the 7-member global HIPHOP girl group H//PE Princess. This two-part interview covers the members of H//PE Princess, who are set to debut on May 27, 2026. Part 1 delves into the true personalities of COCO, YSY, and YUJU.
**What is 'H//PE Princess no High School! Princess'?**
H//PE Princess is a 7-member group formed in 2025 through a joint Japan-Korea audition program. Before their debut in the first half of 2026, they have already shown exceptional activity, guest-appearing in performances by Takanori Iwata (Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS) and popular Korean hip-hop duo Dynamic Duo. This marks their first challenge in a Japanese variety show.
The program begins with the 7 members of H//PE Princess, born from the Japan-Korea joint audition, knocking on the doors of a Japanese dance-specialized high school. They are given an extremely tough mission: to successfully complete a joint performance with 7 active high school dancers – a total of 14 people – at a graduation event just two days later. Inspired by the skills of the high school dancers, who also work as professional backup dancers, the H//PE Princess members feel anxious and struggle, but eventually manage to perfect their performance. This truly embodies youth. Within the limited two-day practice period, specialized training begins in separate teams. Despite the frustration of language barriers, the members, primarily those fluent in both Japanese and Korean, unite their hearts through gestures and effort.
Furthermore, attention is also drawn to the members' "life-sized true selves" shown behind the scenes of their performances. After practice, high school students invite H//PE Princess members to their homes, and separate exchange meetings are held for each team. By sharing their future dreams and anxieties, a strong bond emerges that transcends mere co-stars. The high school students prepare Japanese gourmet treats for the hard-working members, and a fresh, touching scene unfolds as they marvel at the new flavors. On the day of the main event, can the 14 girls, transcending borders, create a miraculous stage in three days? Please watch this emotional record that you won't be able to take your eyes off for a moment.
