The 5-episode special in January 2026 generated a massive response on social media, with fans calling for more. In response to these voices, the MAD5 members are returning with a powered-up 20-episode regular series. The pillar of the show is the original 'MAD Duo' from the 'Shushutto Gokurousan' YouTube channel: Cookie! and Hollywood Zakoshisyoh. They are joined by three 'selected members' who won auditions on the channel: Kazuma Ikeda, Shigesumi Kawakita, and Kemuri Matsui. Together, they create a unique 'chemical reaction' that somehow works despite their clashing styles.
