The new future TV "ABEMA" will exclusively broadcast the special program "My Clueless First Friend Season 2: Pre-Broadcast Special" for free on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, starting at 9:30 PM, on the same day as the broadcast begins.

"My Clueless First Friend" is a coming-of-age romantic comedy based on the light novel series by Saeki-san, serialized on the novel posting site "Shosetsuka ni Narou" and published by "GA Bunko" (SB Creative). It depicts the sweet and tantalizing love story between high school freshman Shūichi Fujimiya, who lives alone, and the most beautiful girl in school, Mahiro Shiina, also known as "the Angel," who lives in the apartment next door. When the first season of the TV anime aired starting in January 2023, its slow-paced, sweet, and frustrating relationship development between the two in their everyday lives garnered significant support from fans as a "healing romantic comedy." The highly anticipated second season is scheduled to begin airing in April 2026, with further developments in Shū and Mahiro's relationship drawing much attention.

The special program "My Clueless First Friend Season 2: Pre-Broadcast Special," which will be exclusively broadcast for free on "ABEMA," features Kaito Sakamoto (as Shūichi Fujimiya), Manaka Iwami (as Mahiro Shiina), Taku Yashiro (as Itsuki Akasawa), and Haruka Shiraishi (as Chitose Shirakawa). With the second season premiere just around the corner, the cast will look back on the story of the first season and participate in a corner titled "What's the Topic?
