Latest Season of 'Detective Conan' to be Broadcast for Free Weekly on 'ABEMA'! Starting April 25 (Sat)! 1-Week Free Catch-up Included

The new future TV "ABEMA" announces that the latest season (Season 31) of the TV anime "Detective Conan," currently airing on terrestrial broadcasting, will be broadcast for free every week starting Saturday, April 25, 2026.

"Detective Conan" is an anime work based on the hugely popular mystery manga by Gosho Aoyama, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" since 1994. It depicts the story of Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective who was forced by the Black Organization to drink a mysterious poison and turned into a child. Calling himself "Conan Edogawa," he solves numerous difficult cases with his friends while pursuing the true identity of the organization. The TV anime began broadcasting in January 1996 and celebrated its 30th broadcasting anniversary on Thursday, January 8, 2026. In addition, the theatrical movie series, which started in 1997, has produced many hits so far, and the 29th movie "Detective Conan: The Fallen Angel of the Highway" will be released on Friday, April 10. Further developments are planned for the future, showing even greater excitement.

This time, it has been decided to broadcast the TV anime "Detective Conan" for free every week on "ABEMA." Starting from 10:30 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, the broadcast will begin with Episode 1197 of "Season 31," and thereafter, episodes of "Season 31" will be delivered sequentially for free every Saturday at 10:30 PM. In addition, simultaneously with the start of the broadcast, each episode will be available for free streaming for one week.

Furthermore, on the free "Detective Conan" channel on "ABEMA," over 1,000 episodes of the TV anime "Detective Conan" are currently being broadcast for free every day. From Friday, April 10, TV episodes related to the movie "Detective Conan: The Fallen Angel of the Highway" are being broadcast continuously for 10 weeks for free. Also, past works of the theatrical movie "Detective Conan" are sequentially starting to be distributed.
