ABEMA, the new television for the future, broadcast the first episode of its new original romance reality show "Love Hospital" (6 episodes total) on "ABEMA SPECIAL Channel" starting from 10 PM on Thursday, April 2, 2026. This show features adults who have forgotten about serious romance due to being too engrossed in their work, confronting their true feelings.

"Love Hospital" is a romance reality show where adults who have lost touch with love due to their careers engage in a 3-day, 2-night cohabitation to face their romantic feelings. Ten men and women, active in various forefront fields such as politics, economy, and culture, gather to unfold a love documentary of awkward adults.

The participants include 5 male members: Shinji Ishimaru (43), a former politician; Hideo Ishiguro (37), an actor who appeared in hit dramas like "Gokusen" and "Hanzawa Naoki"; Ryusei Kuwata (40), a businessman and general director of "Reiwa no Tora"; Yuto Koizumi (30), a former J-League player and cooking researcher; and Masakatsu Shizukuishi (32), a freelance announcer. The 5 female members include Asa Kamiya (25), a current Tokyo University graduate student, Miss Todai 2020, and Miss Campus 2021 Grand Prix winner; Izumi Senma (33), a Nishitokyo City Council member and former elementary school teacher; Erina Hirakawa (33), a company employee and talent, currently a single mother; Natsuko Tatsumi (38), a former top gravure idol; and Haruka Ikeda (30), an entrepreneur and former car mechanic. The studio observers are Allen-sama, Hiroyuki, Yoko Maki, and Tina Tamashiro.
