New Type Added to Popular Shapes of Secondary Curved Wall Covering 'Tamboa®'

ABC Trading Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Shigeki Higashikawa), a company engaged in the development, manufacturing, import, and sale of building materials, added a new "V-groove" type to its secondary curved wall covering "Tamboa" on April 1.

"Tamboa" is a wall covering material that can be installed on both flat and curved surfaces. With a rhythmic cross-sectional shape featuring natural wood veneer on the base material, it three-dimensionally expresses the texture of natural wood. In addition to being used on the sides of curved counters, the certified non-combustible type can be installed on entire wall surfaces and is widely adopted in hotels, offices, and reception areas.

The newly added "V-groove" is almost identical in shape to the popular non-combustible type shape, and comes in a lineup of 3 colors as a combustible type. This shape ensures that even on curved surfaces, the wood grain continues uninterrupted up to the slit, realizing a beautiful, seamless finish. The deep shadows created by the approximately 6mm slit bring a dynamic expression and a sense of luxury to the space, demonstrating high design quality as a finishing material for wainscoting and counter sides.
