Senritsu Meikyu: Kaii Kakusei Sadako Tokubetsu Chosa

ABAL Inc. (Location: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & CEO: Ryoya Osakoyama), which aims to create next-generation theme parks centered on XR technology, has partnered with Fuji Kyuko Co., Ltd. (Location: Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture; Representative Director & President: Koichiro Horiuchi) to produce "Senritsu Meikyu: Kaii Kakusei," a VR horror attraction based on the horror facility "Senritsu Meikyu" operated by Fuji-Q Highland. This attraction has been experienced by many people in Tokyo, Osaka, Kanazawa, and Okayama.

Now, a collaboration with the horror heroine "Sadako" has been decided. Together with strategic partner Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Chisato Matsumoto), it has been decided to hold "Senritsu Meikyu: Kaii Kakusei Sadako Tokubetsu Chosa" from July 18 (Sat), 2026, to September 27 (Sun), 2026, at Tower Hall B, B1F of Tokyo Tower Foot Town (4-2-8 Shiba Park, Minato-ku, Tokyo).

To ensure a smooth experience of this attraction, advance tickets with designated dates and times will be sold on the official website. Same-day tickets are also planned, but will be available until supplies last.

Encounter rate with apparitions increased by 15% in "Senritsu Meikyu: Kaii Kakusei"!

Based on the story and world of "Senritsu Meikyu ~Yami ni Unu Kuyo~," a leading horror attraction at Fuji-Q Highland, this is a completely original story depicting "the backside and another story of Senritsu Meikyu." The encounter rate with apparitions has been increased by 15% from "Senritsu Meikyu: Kaii Kakusei." The VR experience is a virtual labyrinth spanning 8 floors and 1 km in length. Photo and selfie taking is possible in the virtual space! You can capture the apparitions and Sadako you encounter and post them on social media as investigation reports.

Story of "Senritsu Meikyu: Kaii Kakusei Sadako Tokubetsu Chosa"

Summer 2025: The "Senritsu Meikyu" transformation of the Tokyo Tower VR attraction, recorded by the private organization "(Limited) Apparition Countermeasures Organization" which handles supernatural incidents, could not have its mysteries solved even with the cooperation of over 20,000 investigators.

The "Senritsu Meikyu"-transformed VR goggles spread nationwide, just as the words of the vanished medium foretold. As observations and records by investigators were repeated, apparitions became active, continuing to amplify by feeding on people's fear.

The accumulated curse finally reaches its critical point.

As a result, abnormal records that should not exist in this place were confirmed.

Investigation reports began to repeatedly record the presence of a long-haired woman.

[About Sadako]

Sadako is a vengeful spirit born from Koji Suzuki's novel "Ring" (91), which depicts the horror of a "cursed video" that inevitably leads to death after a certain period. In the climax scene of the live-action film "Ring" (98), her appearance crawling out of a TV screen to cause the death of the cursed person sent a huge shock across Japan at the end of the century, making her instantly recognizable. She spreads the "Ring virus," which curses and kills those who watch the "cursed video." Her most distinctive features are her long black hair covering her face and her white dress, and she is known for appearing from wells and TV screens. The "Ring" series has also been remade in Hollywood, and she has become a globally recognized horror icon with wide appeal across generations both domestically and internationally.
