Arkell Inc. (Headquarters: Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture; Representative Director and CEO: Ryoji Miyawaki), a company aiming to realize a decarbonized society through digital innovation, has announced its selection for the 2026 'High Growth Program,' a value-up program hosted by Fukuoka Growth Next (FGN), a startup support facility co-run by the public and private sectors in Fukuoka City.

Through the hands-on support provided by this program, Arkell will further accelerate the expansion of its carbon management service, 'CarbOne,' which provides end-to-end support for decarbonization management.

About the High Growth Program

The 'High Growth Program' is an FGN-hosted selective support program for startups that lead Fukuoka City's startup ecosystem and aim for significant business growth. Since its inception in 2024, it has empowered promising startups representing Fukuoka City.

For 2026, the program has been reconstructed as a value-up program designed to multi-dimensionally enhance business value, based on past support achievements and insights gained from working alongside previous cohorts. By incorporating insights from executives with IPO experience and top venture capitalists, the program ensures that FGN staff and experts work as team members to provide practical support and drive execution and growth.

Background and Future Outlook

Arkell has developed services that provide one-stop support for corporate decarbonization, ranging from status assessment and emission calculation to implementation of reduction measures and reporting.

With rising social demand for carbon neutrality, needs for our services are rapidly expanding, particularly among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) under pressure to respond to supply chain requirements. To seize this momentum and transform CarbOne into a service capable of nationwide deployment, we decided to join this program.

Through hands-on support from top venture capitalists, experienced entrepreneurs, and experts provided by the High Growth Program, we aim to address management challenges such as organizational strengthening, fundraising, business development, and talent acquisition, thereby achieving a transition to a rapid growth phase.

Comments from the Representative

Ryoji Miyawaki, Representative Director and CEO, Arkell Inc.

'I am honored to be selected as a participant in the 2026 Fukuoka Growth Next High Growth Program. Based in Fukuoka, we have been aiming to realize a decarbonized society through the power of digital technology. This year, we launched "CarbOne," a carbon management service that supports companies in every step of their decarbonization journey, from status assessment to information disclosure, and we are currently rolling it out in full scale.

As the number of companies required to address decarbonization is expected to increase, we must rapidly scale our business to meet social demands. By maximizing the knowledge and network gained through this program, we will nurture CarbOne into one of Japan's leading carbon management services. We will continue to challenge ourselves, aiming to become a world-class startup from Fukuoka.'
