Ateam Joins 'Pride Action30', a Corporate Alliance Project to Promote Understanding and Support for LGBTQ+

Ateam Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Aichi; President: Takao Hayashi), which develops diverse IT services through creativity and technology, announces its support for 'Pride Action30,' a corporate alliance project planned and operated by the Panasonic Connect Group (Group CEO: Ken Sain) and the non-profit organization Pride House Tokyo (Location: Shinjuku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yuri Igarashi), in alignment with June's 'Pride Month,' a period dedicated to raising awareness of LGBTQ+ rights and celebrating sexual diversity. Through this project, the company aims to provide opportunities for each employee to learn correct knowledge about DE&I and LGBTQ+ issues and to think about creating an environment where everyone can work as their authentic selves.

■ Background of Supporting 'Pride Action30'
Currently, it is said that 9.7% of the LGBTQ+ population in Japan exists, making them a very familiar presence. However, there are still many challenges regarding specific support in the workplace, with survey results indicating that 34.1% of people have knowledge about LGBTQ+ issues but lack a high level of awareness regarding the challenges involved.

Our group promotes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) as part of our human capital initiatives aimed at sustainable corporate value enhancement. For our group, which develops diverse IT services with 'creativity and technology' as the source of value in our 'Ateam Purpose,' creating an environment where diverse values are respected and everyone can confidently demonstrate their abilities is essential for sustainable growth.

'Pride Action30' is a project that presents '30 actions you can take now' to society throughout the 30 days of Pride Month in June and encourages their implementation. Our group deeply empathizes with the project's theme of 'Let's start with what we can do' and the belief that 'companies taking the lead in raising voices of understanding and support leads to creating an environment where LGBTQ+ individuals can work with peace of mind and realizing a better society,' leading to our decision to support it.

At the wedding venue information site 'Hanayume,' to realize our mission of 'providing the trigger for an "ideal wedding" to as many couples as possible,' we have conducted internal training on LGBTQ+ issues and created customer service manuals after organizing knowledge about LGBTQ+. In addition, in line with Pride Month, we are conducting awareness activities such as installing rainbow flags at 'Hanayume Wedding Desks' nationwide and creating original rainbow logos.
