Japan's Largest Engineer Community 'Qiita' to Host Offline Talk Event 'Qiita Bash' on 'AI Utilization Connecting Engineering and Design' for Users!

Qiita Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nakamura Ward, Nagoya City, President and CEO: Kensuke Shibata), a group company of Ateam Holdings Inc., which develops diverse IT services with creativity and technical expertise, and operates the service 'Qiita' for recording and sharing knowledge about engineers, will hold an offline talk event 'Qiita Bash' on April 28, 2025 (Tuesday) with the theme 'AI Utilization Connecting Engineering and Design'. This event will feature Lightning Talks (LT) and networking, providing a platform for participants and speakers to connect and freely exchange information and ask questions.

What is 'Qiita Bash'?

'Qiita Bash' is an offline talk event that sets a theme for each session and shares knowledge about technology. Centered around Qiita users, individuals with deep knowledge on the theme will be invited, and two content formats will be offered: Lightning Talks (LT) and networking.

We aim to create opportunities for event participants and speakers to connect and to freely exchange information and ask questions through this event. We encourage you to participate as a chance to deepen your knowledge and output on topics of interest.

We are also seeking sponsoring companies for future events.

* LT (Lightning Talk) refers to a short presentation of about 5 minutes, often held at study groups, events, and conferences.

Background of 'Qiita Bash' Event

• To create new opportunities for Qiita users to output their knowledge.

• To foster connections among users.

• To regularly hold events that meet user needs.

Some Qiita users have received requests to write books or have presented at large-scale conferences as a result of their activities on Qiita. As a company, we want to expand the opportunities for those who actively use Qiita and support them in establishing their identity as engineers, which led to the creation of 'Qiita Bash'.

Furthermore, we hope that this event will spark communication among participants, leading to the sharing of knowledge and the building of networks, thereby creating new changes.

In the future, we plan to hold timely and regular events that align with users' interests and concerns, taking into account the needs of engineers, as well as article postings, tags, and trends on Qiita.
