In this seminar, we will introduce the decision-making and transformation process that led to the company-wide implementation of Claude Code in the engineering organization at Qiita Inc.
The impetus for the company-wide rollout came from the presenter's own conviction, gained through extensive use of Claude Code, that 'the output of lead-class engineers becomes limitless.' A lesson learned from a phased trial implementation was that 'a bottom-up approach of providing Claude Code licenses to volunteers creates a high psychological hurdle and hinders utilization,' which led to the decision to switch to the Claude Team plan all at once. After implementation, not only did productivity improve, but a series of workflow innovations led by the frontline staff also occurred.
In the AI era, what is required of management is not 'control' but 'to use it oneself and rewrite the organization's conventions (unlearning).' We will deliver this practical knowledge.
