AIS Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroshi Ohura; hereinafter "AIS"), an IT manufacturer providing core systems for the maritime industry, held a photo session to unveil the naming rights for the second gymnasium, "Toracle Arena," in collaboration with students from Toba National College of Maritime Technology (Toba City, Mie Prefecture; Principal: Haruo Mimura; hereinafter "Toba National College of Maritime Technology").
This photo session incorporated the concept of the latest training ship "Toba Maru" and the integrated crew system "TRANS-Crew," with the theme "Door to a Future with Advancing DX." Students moved within the actual space, and their actions were photographed.

Gymnasium Space and Photo Spots
The gymnasium doors feature a visual of the training ship "Toba Maru" at anchor, bathed in the morning sun. By having students place their hands on the doors and open them, they connect to a future where DX is advancing.
Beyond the doors, a visual unfolds combining "Toba Maru" sailing the future seas with "Smart Captain," the image character for "TRANS-Crew."
A photo spot has also been set up near the gymnasium entrance. The background similarly features visuals of "Toba Maru" and "Smart Captain," creating a space that students can use as a photo spot.
We hope this will be a place where students can enjoy taking photos and share them on social media.
About "Smart Captain"
"Smart Captain," the image character for "TRANS-Crew," represents a seafarer who achieves "smart working styles" by utilizing "smart devices."
In this initiative, we are expressing this image within the space, alongside the students of Toba National College of Maritime Technology, as one vision of the human resources who will lead the future maritime industry.
AIS is Promoting DX in the Maritime Industry and Enhancing the Recognition and Appeal of Seafarers
The YouTube channel "Toracle Channel (Smart Captain)" features videos promoting work style reforms for seafarers and supporting them.
We will continue to contribute to the development of next-generation maritime human resources and the industry through initiatives that are close to the field.

<Features of "TRANS-Crew">
"TRANS-Crew" was born from the fusion of AIS's track record of providing the core system "TRANS-Series" for the maritime industry for approximately 30 years, over 23 years of know-how in land-based attendance management systems, and implementation experience with over 900 companies.
Starting from labor management, it allows for integrated management of various seafarer-related information on a single platform, including allowance calculation, payroll system linkage, crew assignment management, qualification/expiration management, and movement status management.
Furthermore, while being a cloud service, it supports flexible individual customization, enabling implementation and operational support tailored to each company's operational realities and challenges.
