Four Cs Appoints Hikaru Kanemura as New Director

Four Cs Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Okinawa City, Okinawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Kenichiro Toyosato) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Hikaru Kanemura as a new director. Mr. Kanemura has contributed to fostering the growth of startups in Okinawa by serving as the Chairman of the Okinawa Startup Ecosystem Consortium Operating Committee, Executive Manager of Ryulab (STARTUP LAB RYUDAI), and being involved in the establishment of the Okinawa IT Innovation Strategy Center (ISCO).

With Mr. Kanemura's appointment, our company will accelerate towards realizing its mission of "creating new industries that drive growth in Japan and Asia."

◼︎ Background of New Director's Appointment

Four Cs operates its business with the mission of "creating new industries that drive growth in Japan and Asia," aiming to fulfill the role of "Bankoku Shinryo" (Bridge to All Nations), symbolizing the Ryukyu Kingdom which once prospered through trade. Currently, we support startups in various ways, including operating the venture capital "Shinryo Fund," the innovation hub KSA (KozaStartupArcade), the startup conference "KOZAROCKS," and other startup studio businesses.

To achieve this "Bankoku Shinryo" vision, further organizational expansion is essential. To accelerate our pace and achieve even greater growth, we have decided to welcome Mr. Hikaru Kanemura, who is well-versed in the Okinawa startup ecosystem, as our new director.

◼︎ Profile of Mr. Hikaru Kanemura

Since 2017, he has been involved in the establishment project of the "Okinawa IT Innovation Strategy Center (ISCO)," an industrial support organization aiming to promote Okinawa Prefecture's economy primarily through the IT technology sector. He has consistently been engaged in supporting startup growth, contributing to the creation of mechanisms in various fields such as entrepreneurship support, entrepreneur development and growth support, and open innovation. He serves as the Chairman of the Operating Committee for the "Okinawa Startup Ecosystem Consortium," which comprises approximately 80 organizations from industry, government, academia, and finance within Okinawa Prefecture. He is also a Specially Appointed Professor at the University of the Ryukyus (responsible for Entrepreneurship), an Advisor (Startup) at the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan, and will join Four Cs Co., Ltd. as a director from April 2026.
