(Headquarters: Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture), is pleased to announce that para-cyclist Honoka Nakamichi, a native of Ainansho, Ehime Prefecture, whom P・SPO supports as a sponsor, achieved two championships at the "95th All Japan Cycling Championships Track Race (Para-cycling)" held from June 11 to 15, 2026, at the Izu Velodrome in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. She won the 1km time trial and the 3km individual pursuit in the WC2 class.

Ms. Nakamichi is challenging domestic and international competitions with the goal of participating in the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics, and P・SPO, as a sponsoring company, provides continuous support for her endeavors.

Achieved two WC2 class titles at the nation's top-tier "All Japan Cycling Championships"

This event was held as the nation's premier track cycling competition, and Ms. Nakamichi competed in the WC2 class.

On June 14, she won the 1km time trial with a time of 1 minute 40.008 seconds.

Subsequently, on June 15, she also won the 3km individual pursuit with a time of 5 minutes 38.820 seconds, achieving two championships at the event.

Although she did not break her own Japanese record in the 1km time trial, she demonstrated a stable performance on the nation's top stage, reaffirming her top-level skills in Japan.

Transitioned from swimming to para-cycling, aiming for the Los Angeles Paralympics

Ms. Nakamichi is from Ainansho, Ehime Prefecture.

Born with a congenital absence of her right lower limb, she began swimming in the second grade of elementary school, achieving victories at the Japan Para Swimming Championships and the Asian Youth Games.

She later transitioned to cycling.

Currently, she continues her athletic activities while working at TV Ehime and is diligently training with the goal of participating in the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics as a designated elite athlete by the Japan Para-cycling Federation.
