“Technical Book Library” for IT Engineers Officially Opened in Nishi-Waseda, Tokyo on Saturday, March 28

Tenmado LLC (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Hiroyuki Yamaoka) officially opened the "Technical Book Library," a membership-based library for IT engineers, in Nishi-Waseda, Tokyo, on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Official Opening Supported by Many The "Technical Book Library" concept was announced in December 2025, and we began seeking support on the crowdfunding site "READYFOR" that same month. Against a target of 1.5 million yen, we ultimately received over 2 million yen in support from more than 100 backers.

Using this support, we prepared the facilities and held two pre-opening days in March 2026. We then celebrated our official opening on Saturday, March 28.

What is the "Technical Book Library"? The Technical Book Library is a private, membership-based library where IT engineers can exchange and share knowledge. We house a wide range of books, including not only technical books but also business and humanities titles, providing opportunities for unexpected encounters with new literature.

The library serves as a place to pass on past knowledge to the next generation and share contemporary insights. You may learn through books, or through conversations with others who happen to be there. In addition to open communication within the facility, we will also hold regular events.

The facility is equipped with power outlets and Wi-Fi, allowing you to test code while reading. We do not lend out books; the space is dedicated to on-site reading. If you find a book you like, we encourage you to purchase it at a bookstore.

Comment from Representative Hiroyuki Yamaoka When we received support from over 100 people through crowdfunding, I was convinced that "there are people waiting for this place." Having been involved in web development for many years, I have long thought, "I wish there were a place where I could read various technical books more casually," and that vision has finally taken shape.
