Official Opening of the 'Tech Book Library' for IT Engineers in Nishi-Waseda, Tokyo on Saturday, March 28

Tenmado LLC (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Hiroyuki Yamaoka) officially opened the 'Tech Book Library,' a membership-based private library for IT engineers, in Nishi-Waseda, Tokyo, on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Moving to Official Opening Thanks to Much Support The 'Tech Book Library' announced its establishment concept in December 2025 and began seeking support on the crowdfunding site 'READYFOR' the same month. Against a target of 1.5 million yen, we ultimately received over 2 million yen in support from more than 100 backers.

Using the received support, we set up the facilities and held two pre-opening days in March 2026. Then, on Saturday, March 28, we celebrated our official opening.

What is the 'Tech Book Library'? The Tech Book Library is a membership-based private library for IT engineers to exchange and share knowledge. It houses a wide range of books, including technical books, business books, and humanities books, offering unexpected encounters with books.

The library is also a place to pass past knowledge to the next generation and share contemporary knowledge. You might learn through books, or gain insights from conversations with people you happen to meet there. In addition to allowing free communication within the facility, we will also hold regular events.

It is fully equipped with power outlets and Wi-Fi, so you can test code while reading a book. We do not lend out books; the facility is specialized for reading inside. If you encounter a book you like, please purchase it at a bookstore.
