Under the concept of 'an experimental zone to enrich the world 100 years from now,' 100BANCH, a future creation hub that works with young generations to create new value, has announced the selected projects for the 106th term of its acceleration program, 'GARAGE Program.' Five projects joined in May 2026.

The GARAGE Program is an acceleration program that promotes projects and social experiments by young leaders building the next 100 years. It provides activity spaces and mentor support to young people under 35 who are pursuing the future. Selected projects will utilize this program for three months to undertake their respective experiments for the future. Details of the 106th term projects are as follows:

Childish
A safety net that all parenting households can rely on. Rebuilding an 'easily accessible' safety net.
This project aims for 'families' to remain a mental and physical safe haven in any era.
There is a large blank area in Japanese childcare support. Existing support tends to reach those in serious situations like abuse or domestic violence. However, before that—at stages like 'feeling somewhat overwhelmed,' 'not knowing who to consult,' or 'wondering if this is something I can consult about'—there are almost no places to turn. For people whose problems are not yet apparent, or who lack the ability or willingness to pay, existing public and private support has been difficult to access. As a result, problems continue to grow beneath the surface, only to suddenly emerge. Our goal is a meticulous safety net that all parenting households can easily rely on 'when something happens.' With expert consultation as the entry point, we appropriately connect families to existing social resources (public institutions, private services, local communities, etc.) according to their needs. Childish is an experimental platform for achieving this.

Taro Jiro Architects
'Tuning' spaces with local resources to create places where connections are born.
This project aims to create places that foster circulation and connections through 'tuning' spaces.
In today's busy and disconnected world, we 'tune' spaces to create mental and physical comfort and foster connections. By fusing products made from Kishu wood with technology that gently supports comfort, we design minimal spaces where people can take a deep breath. From there, we expand into urban development that circulates local resources and human activities.

AccessSync
Connecting mobility support digitally to expand opportunities for people with disabilities to 'go where they want to go.'
This project aims to solve the inconveniences of train travel for people with disabilities through digital technology, delivering a more convenient and smart travel experience.
AccessSync is a project that utilizes digital technology to resolve inconveniences for people with mobility restrictions, such as wheelchair users and visually impaired individuals, when using public transportation (especially railways). By centralizing information shared with railway companies and station staff, it streamlines advance reservations for boarding support and guidance during travel, reducing travel time and psychological burden. We aim to realize a society where people with mobility challenges can go out more freely.

Youth Active Mates
Before you know it, you're gathered and moving. The town's club for mind and body.
A project based in Shibuya that aims to create a culture where young people lacking exercise 'find themselves moving' together.
Currently, one in ten high school students, 300,000 nationwide, attend correspondence high schools. These students often lack opportunities for schooling or physical education, leading to insufficient exercise and social connections. However, simply urging them to 'exercise' is not enough. Throwing discarded flowers in Shibuya, creating beach art in Miyashita Park, making and eating churrasco and dancing samba—by embedding moments of physical activity within entertainment and culture, we design and demonstrate experiences where people 'found themselves moving before they knew it.' We aim to spread this youth-led 'future town club' from Shibuya nationwide.
