Two Projects—A Modern Circus Allowing You to Experience Shibuya's Hidden History and Culture, and Device Development Promoting Scientific Awareness Through Origami and Crafts—Move Into 100BANCH as the 105th Batch of the GARAGE Program

Under the concept of 'an experimental district to enrich the world 100 years from now,' '100BANCH,' a future creation base working on creating new value with the young generation who will lead the next era, has decided on the 105th batch of projects adopted for its acceleration program 'GARAGE Program'. Two projects moved in during April 2026.

The GARAGE Program is an acceleration program that promotes the projects and social experiments of young leaders who will build the next 100 years. It provides youth under 35 pursuing the future with a place for activities and support from mentors. The adopted projects will spend three months utilizing this program to tackle their respective experiments toward the future. The details of the 105th batch projects are as follows.

Kizuki_0 Sparking 'awareness' with devices born from the mathematics hidden in origami and crafts! This project aims to create the first step toward opening up one's life through 'awareness'. While origami and crafts are familiar, the science behind them is not well known. Therefore, based on the geometric phenomena that appear in shapes, they will create devices that correspond parameters to sensory quantities such as sound and light. By exhibiting these devices, they will create opportunities for many people to naturally touch and explore out of curiosity, realizing the phenomena behind them. Through this, they believe anyone can encounter the excitement of a scientific perspective, regardless of their prior interest in science. They hope this awareness will ripple into daily life, creating a chain reaction of changes in how people view things.

City Stories Circus Transforming stories sleeping in the city into excitement through modern circus! A project that expresses the 100-year story of Shibuya's culture through modern circus. By expressing the 'miscellaneousness' of Shibuya through acrobatics and juggling, they are developing short performances paying homage to fairy tales. By incorporating the history and culture dormant in Shibuya into the production, they will create a non-verbal immersive modern circus show that repaints the space from a 'place to watch' to a 'place to experience the story'.
