Takachiho Koeki Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takanobu Ide; Securities Code: 2676; hereinafter "the Company") is commencing full-scale sales of its CCS (Cell Connection System) module products, aiming to contribute to the added value of customer products.

[Background for Full-Scale Sales of CCS Modules]

The Company sells various cables for communication and power supply, offering a diverse product lineup. In fiscal year 2025, CCS modules were added to our product lineup. With the recent expansion of the data center market, there has been an unprecedented increase in the number of servers, communication equipment, UPS, and other devices equipped with battery cells for emergency power supply. To meet this growing demand, we are launching full-scale sales of CCS modules.

[What is a CCS Module?]

A CCS (Cell Connection System) is an integrated module that combines temperature sensors and busbars for connecting battery cells using assembled harnesses and FPCs (Flexible Printed Circuits).

It has been practically applied as a top cover for electric vehicle battery packs and is widely used in battery packs for electric mobility and ESS (Energy Storage Systems) such as power backup systems.

[Features of CCS Module Products]

CCS modules monitor the temperature and voltage of battery cells while also connecting the battery pack and cells via busbars. They contribute to the construction of highly reliable battery systems by enabling space-saving, weight reduction, and efficient pack design.

[Future Development of CCS Module Products]

The Company will focus its sales efforts on the expanding demand for ESS (Energy Storage Systems), primarily for data centers. Additionally, we will expand sales to fields with growing demand, such as electric vehicles, humanoid robots, and power tools, aiming for sales of 300 million yen for this product in fiscal year 2028.
