In recent years, listener skills have become essential for addressing serious issues such as customer harassment and improving engagement through one-on-one employee meetings.

The skills required of a listener are diverse, making skill improvement through role-playing alone difficult and necessitating greater efficiency.

In response, Union Software Management Co., Ltd. and Sakano Kimio Law Office have jointly developed a technology that records conversations, displays them in real-time, and provides appropriate AI-generated questions based on the content.

■ Key Features of the Technology

Using voice recognition technology, the system captures and displays conversations in real-time. Based on the content, the AI suggests relevant questions aligned with the topic. As the conversation progresses, the system analyzes the accumulated history to suggest in-depth questions to ensure nothing is missed, point out contradictions in the conversation, and guide the dialogue toward the meeting's objectives.

The core of this technology lies not merely in AI presenting questions and answers, but in its ability to provide goal-oriented suggestions and identify contradictions based on the accumulation and flow of the conversation.

This technology facilitates post-conversation verification and allows AI to supplement the skills of the listener (staff member) in various corporate scenarios, such as compliance department investigative interviews, call center complaint handling, and one-on-one employee meetings.

■ Future Outlook

While this technology is applicable to all real-life corporate conversations (phone and in-person), development is currently complete for "investigative interview tasks" and "internal one-on-one meetings." Systems using this technology are scheduled for implementation at several companies.
