JR East President Kise presents letter of appreciation

On April 20, 2026, a letter of appreciation was presented by Mr. Yoichi Kise, Representative Director and President of East Japan Railway Company (hereinafter referred to as JR East).

This time, our company received a letter of appreciation, along with Maruyama Komuten Co., Ltd., which participated as a sub-contractor in the JV, for the "Senju Power Plant Equipment Renovation" project, which our company received an order from JR East and was involved in its construction. The Senju Power Plant is a hydroelectric power plant of JR East that began operation in 1933 and has long supported the power for railway transportation. For our company, it is also a historically special site, tracing its roots to the "Shinano River Hydroelectric Power Plant Phase 3 Tunnel Construction" project, which was our first order when the company was founded in 1944. From JR East President Kise, words of achievement and gratitude were extended to the site managers who attended representing their respective sites, and expectations for the future were discussed.

Furthermore, after the letter of appreciation presentation ceremony, an exchange of opinions was held, where active discussions took place, including stories of hardships at the site at the time and prospects for the future of hydroelectric power plants.

Our company will continue to strive for technological advancement to contribute to domestic and international development, focusing on civil engineering and construction businesses, including the railway sector, which has been our strength since our founding.
