J-Float Project, Joined by Tsujihongo IT Consulting, Launches 'J-Float Certification' to Officially Recognize and Support Products Aiming for Global Expansion

Tsujihongo IT Consulting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ken Kurohata; hereinafter "ITC") announces that the 'J-Float Project,' in which it participates, has launched the 'J-Float Certification' program to officially recognize and support excellent Japanese-made software and cloud services aiming for global expansion. As an operating partner of this project, ITC will support the promotion of this certification system and Japanese companies' global ambitions.

## Background

In the 1980s, Japan was at the forefront of global software and IT research, proposing common PC standards such as 'MSX' and launching domestic OS initiatives like the 'TRON Project.' However, Japan's digital competitiveness is now ranked 32nd globally (IMD 2023 survey), the lowest in history. Today, numerous high-quality Japanese software and cloud services remain underrecognized and underutilized globally, despite their advanced technology.

ITC was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market in December 2025. In an industry undergoing transformation, ITC aims not only to provide digitalization tools but also to become a 'platform with heart' that empowers better business decisions.

This time, ITC deeply endorses the mission of the J-Float Project—to resurface (Float) excellent Japanese software from obscurity and deliver it to the world. To strongly support Japanese companies' global ambitions and contribute to enhancing Japan's IT competitiveness, we are launching this new certification program.

## J-Float Certification Requirements

We are calling for products that meet the following criteria and aim for global market expansion.

- Multilingual Support

User Interface (UI) and support functions must be available in at least one foreign language (e.g., English, Chinese, Thai) in addition to Japanese.

- Global Design

Products must be developed primarily for overseas markets, or domestic Japanese services must be localized for international use (e.g., local payment methods, adaptation to business customs).

## Review Process

Applications will undergo a strict review process conducted by the J-Float Secretariat and industry experts.

※ Products with both domestic and international features are eligible. We widely welcome applications from companies that have upgraded existing domestic services for global expansion.
