333 Corporations Certified as 'Excellent Dietary Education Practice Corporations 2026' for the First Time!

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) established the 'Excellent Dietary Education Practice Corporation Recognition System' in July 2025 as part of its efforts to promote 'Adult Dietary Education,' recognizing and honoring corporations that implement initiatives contributing to the 'improvement of dietary habits' for their employees. This time, 333 corporations have been certified as the first 'Excellent Dietary Education Practice Corporations 2026.'

1. System Overview
With the externalization and simplification of food, as well as a decrease in the intake of vegetables and fruits among young people, the disorder of dietary habits among adults has become apparent. There is a growing need to promote 'Adult Dietary Education,' starting with young people who will lead the future society. This system aims to honor companies that provide healthy meals and evaluate their efforts toward improving dietary habits for their employees, thereby aiming to improve vitality within companies and promote the horizontal expansion of excellent initiatives. The 'Public-Private Partnership Dietary Education Platform,' established by MAFF in June 2025 to promote 'Adult Dietary Education,' conducts the certification annually.

- Certification Period: April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027
