On May 26, 2026, Nochu Capital Co., Ltd. announced its investment in Yuimedi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Emily Grimes), a company dedicated to building infrastructure for medical data utilization, through the Nochu Capital Strategic Co-Creation Fund No. 1. As part of Norinchukin Bank's innovation investment initiatives, the fund leverages the network of the JA, JF, and JForest groups to support startups working toward a sustainable society. Yuimedi provides 'YuiQuery,' an AI service that allows for medical data research using natural language; standardization services that convert medical data into global standard formats; and 'YuiData,' a data platform. They aim to connect fragmented data within medical institutions in a format that is easily usable for research and clinical practice. Through this investment, they will promote the effective utilization of medical data and work toward realizing sustainable, high-quality regional healthcare.
