Exhibition Highlights

Through the world of the TV anime "The Tale of the Outcasts," this exhibition focuses on two women, Sorghaghtani Beki and Töregene, who represent the "light and shadow that foretold the future of the Mongol Empire," exploring the roots of the strength and beauty of Mongolian women that have been passed down to the present day. It presents a different image of the Mongol Empire than the conventional one that has tended to glorify only men, and interprets the lives of the people of that era.

(1) Explanations of "Beautiful Women of the Mongol Empire" and "History of the Mongol Empire" using original illustrations and anime scene cuts created for this exhibition.

(2) A costume trial corner where visitors can try on ethnic costumes inspired by Sorghaghtani Beki and Töregene, arranged in a modern style.

(3) Screening of official interview videos with the voice actors of the TV anime "The Tale of the Outcasts," and display of posters signed by the voice actors.

(4) Sale of original merchandise using original illustrations created for this exhibition.
