We have prepared numerous wooden toys, from large to small, including a pool filled with acorn-shaped wooden toys and building blocks, at the Hyakumori Hiroba in Awakura Kaikan. You can freely play to your heart's content, feeling the scent of wood and its gentle texture.
■ Fish Catching
You can experience catching fish swimming in the cold water of the pool with your own hands. You can take home the fish you catch. Please enjoy this traditional nature experience of catching fish. This event will be held three times a day at specified times, and only those under high school age can participate.
■ Grand Lottery
The grand lottery will be held from 1:30 PM. The prizes include products sold in stores within Nishiawakura Village, as well as various products manufactured and sold by companies and businesses within Nishiawakura Village, so please participate. About Nishiawakura Village
Nishiawakura Village is a very small village located at the northeastern tip of Okayama Prefecture, with a population of about 1,300 people. Approximately 93% of the village area is covered by forest, and in 2008, the village launched the "100-Year Forest Vision" with the aim of preserving its rich forests for future generations, striving to create a high-quality rural area.
